About The London Piano Institute

Founded by pianist Celine Gaurier-Joubert in 2011, The London Piano Institute is a unique piano school for adults located in the heart of the City of London.

By creating The London Piano Institute, she wanted to offer adults from all walks of life the immense opportunity to learn how to play or improve their skills in a wonderful and non-judgmental environment entirely dedicated to amateur pianists.

This fantastic music haven is home to adults from all levels and abilities who are either new to piano playing or proficient amateur pianists. Our piano lessons are provided weekly in our charming studios at 21 Fleet Street and adult piano learners can join us at any time during the year. We believe that structure and consistency are key to your success. For this reason, we balance your piano lessons well and ensure that all aspects of piano playing are covered: technical exercises, sight-reading and pieces of the repertoire.

We are proud to say that we strictly work with outstanding piano teachers who have a passion for teaching and a genuine interest in helping you achieve your goals. They have themselves studied with the most renowned piano masters and know how to guide you in a manner that is easy for you to understand.

As we all have different tastes and goals, we provide piano courses in various genres that include classical, jazz, rock and pop piano. We are equally happy to help you develop your piano playing whether you want to take it extremely seriously and sit the grade examinations or not. We are very open-minded and always adapt to your needs and wishes.
